何か久しぶりなトピックな気がする。DUO3.0から4文だけ。先日買った類語辞典を使ってみた。類語で単語を覚えるのは覚えやすい&混同しやすくなるので、細かい所に目を向けられる類語辞典は有利、か？

"scarcely"を覚えてなかったので、先日買ったシノニム(類語)辞典で調べてみた。頻度に関する単語。
infrequent, uncommon, scarce, rare, sporadic
mean not common or abundant

  • "infrequent" implies occurrence at wise intervals in space or time
  • "uncommon" suggests something that occurs or is found so infrequently as to be exceptional or extraordinary
  • "scarce" implies a falling short of a standard or required abundance
  • "rare" suggests extreme scarcity or infrequency and often implies consequent high value
  • "sporadic" implies occurrence in scattered instances or isolated outbursts
